The City of Tucson treated water discharge into the Santa Cruz River bed now supports many plant species. Listed below are several species that have self propogated in the nomally dry river bed.

Water Speedwell Veronica anagallis-aquatica

Grows in thick batches along and in the water's edge. Grows in most of Arizona's riparian habitat. Native to Eurasia and naturalized through much of North America
